Praise Apple! At long last, the much anticipated Mac Pro desktop was announced Tuesday, sporting up to 12 processing cores with Intel Xeon processors, surprisingly making it 50% more faster than the previous one. This new series will fall upon us on August. Can't wait.

Praise Apple! At long last, the much anticipated Mac Pro desktop was announced Tuesday, sporting up to 12 processing cores with Intel Xeon processors, surprisingly making it 50% more faster than the previous one. This new series will fall upon us on August. Can’t wait.

The newest Mac Pro features the latest quad-core and 6-core Intel Xeon processors, all new ATI graphics and the option for up to 512GB solid state drives also known as the SSD. The processors runs with a speed of up to 3.33GHz and use a single die design so they can gradually share up to 12MB L3 cache, improving efficiency while making the processing triple the speed.
