Warner Bros. to Stream and Allow Movie Rentals in Facebook

No more long lines to get movie tickets. Facebook opens its big screen to its users.
Warner Bros has a surprise for you, Facebook friends!
The company is now the first movie studio to offer an app that gives users the chance to rent and watch movies on Facebook itself.
People in the US who got Facebook accounts can now rent a movie for a 48-hour streaming on the movie’s official Facebook page. Each rental will cost 30 Facebook Credits, or $3. It will stream through Facebook and users can pause, stop and resume their movie-watching any time of the day . According to Warner Bros. Digital Distribution President, Thomas Gewecke:
“Facebook has become a daily destination for hundreds of millions of people. Making our films available through Facebook is a natural extension of our digital distribution efforts. It gives consumers a simple, convenient way to access and enjoy our films through the world’s largest social network.”
The first movie to test this new awesome feature is The Dark Knight. Ready to have a movie date on Facebook?
