Robin Gibb Passes Away at 62

After waking up from his coma just last month, Robin Gibb succumbs to his long battle with cancer.
Bee Gees singer and co-founder, Robin Gibb has died after his long fought battle with cancer. He was just 62 years old.
Gibb was diagnosed with liver and colon cancer back in 2010. He fell into a coma last April and managed to regain conciousness, a few weeks after. Gibb’s wife Dwina and brother Barry stayed by his side, singing to him, in an effort for him to wake up.

Bee Gees Singer Robin Gibb is now awake and talking after slipping in a week long coma.
Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb finally regains consciousness. Gibb, who is battling colon and liver cancer, suffered from pneumonia and fell into a comatose state in a London Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
Gibb’s doctor released this statement:
“Robin is fully conscious, lucid and able to speak to his loved ones … He is breathing on his own, with an oxygen mask … He is on intravenous feeding and antibiotics. He is of course, exhausted, extremely weak and malnourished.”
Gibb’s family says that Robin even responded to the music that they have been playing and singing for him. They were at his bedside when he woke up from his deep slumber.
