We've talked in a previous article that Verizon is most probably carrying iPhone by next year. We reported about chipsets and all. And now New York Times printed some more juicy news.
A source that claims to be in direct contact with Apple has something to reveal. According to the source, Apple is into adapting iPhone 4 to work with Verizon’s wireless network. It also says Verizon customers can access iPhone early next year. The New York Times also cited the source making it more credible. About two months ago, we’ve written an article about the chip sets for the Verizon iPhone that should arrive December. Even Bloomberg reported a January launch.
Some analysts had a prediction about the rumored five-year exclusivity deal between Apple and AT&T, and Verizon’s 4G technology will hold Verizon iPhone until 2012.
Let’s see if these sources are true to their words.
View Article Source »Verizon Refunds 15 Million Customers

Verizon recently faced complaints from 15 million customer about a service that should be free of charge. In return, the company is giving out $50 million worth of refunds to affected customers.
Verizon Wireless realized that 15 million customers had filed charges against a data network use that should be free. The refund ranges from $3-$6 but some will receive more than that.
Don’t get too excited when you receive your bill with a check, it’s just your refund and not anything else. According to Verizon Deputy General Counsel Mary Coyne, these charges were due to the services that should be free of charge. All the refunds will be received by who those didn’t acquire a data plan.
According to The Wall Street Journal, a total of $50 million refunds will be issued.

The rumors about Microsoft Phone 7 are giving us headaches, but the sight of this marvelous gadget is somewhat a relief.
Rumor has it. The much awaited Windows Phone 7 will set foot on Europe on October 21. This piece of information was tipped offby the sources close to Microsoft.
While innocent until proven guilty, it’s something that makes people excited. Reports had concluded that the definite time of launch is the month of October, and just recently Microsoft announced that they are ready. An initial report from a Spanish website El Economista said that the phones are for release in Spain on the 21st. But there is another report that UK, France, Germany and Italy are also on the list. But nothing was said about the US release.
In addtion, there is also a report that says Microsoft will boast the new phone at a New York City event this October 11. Just then Microsoft will have partnership with a popular London-based radio station to promote the phone in UK.
Are these rumors true? Only time will time.
