CES 2012 Attendance Breaks Record

The recorded number of attendees in the most recent CES is 153,000.

In the 44 years old history of the Consumer Electronics Show, this year’s event was the biggest thing to boot. The number of attendees reached 153,000 which is up from last year’s 149,000.

The show featured 3,100 exhibitors plus 20,000 new products were presented in the show. All these occupied the 1.861 million square feet of space. Out of the 153,000 attendees, 34,000 were foreign attendees.

The show gathered the big names from the business, entertainment, automotive and electronic industries.

Days before CES, Motorola launches MOTOLUXE and DEFY MINI.

Motorola presented not one but two new devices for the Chinese, Latin American and European markets days before CES takes place. The first in line is the not-so new MOTOLUXE which already appeared in Chinese market as the XT615. It features an 8MP camera, 4-inch display and a lanyard slot for phone notifications. Next is the DEFY MINI. It is water-resistant and dust-proof device with 3.2-inch display, 3MP camera and 1650 mAh battery which can bring 10 hours talk and 21 days standby time. No words still about the pricing of these handsets but both devices will hit stores by February.
