Which has the bigger market and revenue projection: The multi-tenant or traditional data centers?

Something that people hear a lot are about new data centers, and how larger and more efficient they are than the enterprise hosting operations. The comparison comes down in many respects to scalability and elasticity of data centers that base on cloud computing, operating in commodity infrastructure.

From Wikibon’s latest infographic, the difference in cost between multi-tenant and traditional data centers is just one comparison among the many. It presents market projections for cloud computing, and expected revenues for Amazon Web Services.
