Foursquare Welcomes Brands Without Store-front

With Foursquare for Business, “brands that are not tied to a specific physical location” can now use Foursquare’s Pages and Custom Badges in their social media marketing mix.
Until last week, Foursquare was designed for brick-and-mortar businesses. But with their latest Foursquare for Business page, brands that do not have physical location can now use the network’s Pages and Custom Badges.
Foursquare is working with brands that has no store-front to create customer badges and other campaigns. With the help of paid sponsorship, users can unlock a custom badge related to a brand after checking-in at specific location.
