Paleontologist Attempt: Reconstructing Dinosaur’s DNA by Using Chicken

A group of Paleontologist is attempting to turn the imagination of Michael Crichton and Steven Speilberg's Jurassic Park into reality, by using chickens' DNA.
A team of paleontologists, led by Jack Horner, are conducting a series of experiments to reconstruct dinosaurs’ DNA by genetically engineering chickens. Chickens are one of the most common living descendants of the dinosaurs, they may able to create a living pre-historic reptile by activating ancestral traits that can be found on chicken’s roots.
They’ve been able to find about anything they need, other than the DNA itself, by using soft tissue on the experiment. Michael Crichton’s dream of the Jurassic Park might be possible with this research, not just in the movies but in real life too.
As Jack Horner said on TED, chicken-rex might not be far away.
