Duggar Family Provides Relief to Missouri Tornado Victims

The Duggar Family of '19 Kids & Counting' lends out a helping hand to the victims of the Missouri tornado.
The family of TLC’s reality show ’19 Kids & Counting’ – Duggar Family – moved into action just hours after a deadly tornado hits Joplin, Missouri. The family packed up supplies and drove through the night to join the rescue effort. According to Josh Duggar, the eldest Duggar child, he and his five siblings – John, Jana, Jill, Jessa and Joseph – and father – Jim Bob – decided to load up three car caravan late Sunday night as soon as they heard about the disaster.
The family spent the Sunday night and the whole Monday delivering supplies and clearing massive piles of debris to help the victims of Missouri tornado. And with four of the Duggars as volunteer firefighters, the rescue officials immediately bring the family’s considerable manpower to work. They were assigned to search around the devastated town for any activity and hand out supplies at command posts.
Josh Duggar even recalled: “People in Joplin aren’t looking for stuff, they’re looking for their lives.”
