Google might launch its third self-branded Android phone earlier than expected. Make way to Google's Nexus Prime!

Earlier reports coming from BGR have claimed that Nexus Prime, Google’s upcoming 4G smartphone with Android 4.0, will be slated for a release sometime in October 2011. Sources have disclosed that the original report came from a Korean site named, Electronic Times, which also unveiled most of the handset’s features.

Based from Electronic Times, the Nexus Prime is said to be the first smartphone to run on the Android 4.0 operating system, or also known as “Ice Cream Sandwich”. Manufactured by Samsung, Google’s next-gen handset will be sporting a 4.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.5 gigahertz CPU, and a TI OMAP 4460.
