World of Warcraft Subscriptions Continue to Fall

Blizzard is seeing a decrease in number of its World of Warcraft subscribers despite their fairly new offering.

During their recent earnings announcement, Blizzard claimed that their World of Warcraft subscribers where down again. Mike Morhaime, president and co-founder of Blizzard, told investors that the game is still seeing number of subscribers that are correlated with the release of updates and expansions.

Blizzard recently announced as well that players can play WoW until level 20 free. However, this offering is not seeing an increase in subscribers yet. But despite that, the firm is getting ready for a serious competition with Bioware, as the latter gears up for the holiday launch of Old Republic.

The world wide phenomena of the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is extending the game virus everywhere. One of the top contenders in the gaming industry, the Cataclysm is now up for a cinematic introduction. Here is the trailer you wouldn't want to miss.

Just this weekend, the cinematic view of the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm became a huge viral case, with over 1 million views just for a day. We’ve embedded the trailer below and man, it is beautifully created. The World of Warcraft (world of warcraft gold) is now on a 11 million monthly subscribers play, making it a top grosser in history. All of which are Cataclysm teaser hungry. This cinematic introduction became an abrupt appetizer because the Blizzard team has a history on cinematography.
