Facebook and MySpace Make a Joint Announcement

People are not surprised with the release of invitation about the event involving Facebook and MySpace. It been awhile that rumors about Facebook and MySpace integration came about. Just wait and see where this project leads.
Today is a special day for Facebook and MySpace. The two social networking sites decided to do a joint announcement. This was according to an invitation that is currently spreading on social networking websites.
“Please join us for an invitation-only announcement by Mike Jones, CEO of Myspace (MySpace), and Dan Rose, VP of Partnerships and Platform Marketing, Facebook (Facebook),” stated the invitation. The invitation is set to start today at 12:00 PM PT via webcast.
People are speculating that this announcement could be MySpace using Facebook connect, something that has long been rumored. MySpace’s recent website and UI revamps transformed the site to an entertainment site rather than a direct competitor to Facebook. Now, MySpace focuses on its content and it seems Facebook Connect is its stepping stone.
