Facebook Launches an All-New Photo Interface

Facebook is rolling out an new UI that will make you forget your old Flickr and Photobucket.
Facebook will roll out a new design for photo sharing and it’s gonna be huge. This new interface is now visible to selecteda few users. The new interface features larger images, a lightbox-type UI and other things that photography enthusiats will like. Behold Flickr, move over Photobucket, here comes an all-new image-friendly Facebook.
It seems that Facebook has plans of turning all types of social media into one. This new feature that enables HD photos on Facebook was spotted last September and looks like it is ready to roll. Users can now make use of the lightbox layer without further disruption of the underlying page. The new UI includes hi-res photo, photo-download links and bulk tagging options.
It goes alongside the Tag Suggestions which is commonly referred to as facial recognition. Facebook adapted many Flickr features since last summer. See how the new interface looks like after the break.
