Vending Machine Serves Fresh Baguettes on Demand

Jean-Louis Hecht opens a new vending machine that is capable of serving fresh French baguettes in an instant!
A brilliant baker has successfully made the best out of serving fresh and hot baguettes — a kind of French bread. Jean-Louis Hecht, owner of two bakeries located in Paris and at Hombourg-Haut in northeast France, put up a coin-operated vending machines outside his stores in order to give customers instant baguettes any time.
The long thin loaves coming from the vending machines are safe to eat. They are pre-cooked, placed in the machines, and then warmed when someone purchased. According to Hecht, “This is the bakery of tomorrow. If other bakers don’t want to enter the niche, they’re going to get decimated.”
Since the vending machine opened in Hombourg-Haut last January, it successfully handed out over 1,600 pieces of baguettes. Last month, it dispensed 4,500.
