Facebook Blocks Google Friend Exporter

While Facebook is busy blocking Google Chrome's Friend Exporter, the search engine giant unleashes Takeout.
Facebook is trying to block Friend Exporter. It is a Google Chrome extension that enables users to export the contact information of your Facebook friends for use in other services.
The Facebook Friend Exporter lets the user grab several phone numbers or informations from the user’s Facebook friends’ account — directly importing the said informations into Goggle Contacts. However, the tool doesn’t work anymore, but the its developer promises to build and maintain a new version. However, CNET said that the tool might go against Facebook’s Terms of Service, which states “you will not collect users’ content or information, or otherwise access Facebook, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission.”
On the other hand, Google still take the opposite stance and launch their newest tool that will let users to export all the user’s data from several Google services. This tool is called Takeout.
