Just when Nintendo Wii goes down, Nintendo 3DS goes up. Soaring ahead of everybody else.
Nintendo should be happy. Outselling their gesture-control console is non other than the hand-held device they also proudly created. Yes gamers, we’re talking about the 3DS.
Pre-orders for the Nintendo 3DS hardware at Amazon UK is now double the number of Wii’s demand last 2006. Putting the device ahead of other Nintendo launched at Amazon UK.

NVIDIA may be unpredictable sometimes. Following the release of GF110-based GeForce GTX 580 1.5GB last month, NVIDIA flexes their muscles with the abrupt release of the cheaper follow-up, in the name of GeForce GTX 570 1.3GB.
What’s new?
At a glance, there’s a very little difference between the GTX 580 1.5GB and the new GTX 570 1.3GB. Bothuses 10.5in-long PCB and glossy plastic shroud. The only obvious difference is the lesser power phase circuitry on the end of the card; more on that latter.
While the GTX 570 1.3GB look very much like a GTX 580 1.5GB on the outside, the inside is where the changes are found. The most notable of which is that the GTX 570 1.3GB uses 480 stream processors. Does it rings a bell? The GTX 480 1.5GB used the same, with the last SM (Streaming Multiprocessor, or block of 32 stream processors) of the GPU’s design disabled.
