HP First Wave of WebOS Tablets Coming March

HP's very first webOS tablet is slated to come out this March. And all we can say is "It's about time!"

Looks like HP is finally going to unleash their own version of a webOS tablet. According to reports, Hewlett-Packard (HP) will be shipping millions of notebooks come March of 2011, and this particular shipment includes webOS tablets which are rumored to be the Topaz. HP has ordered Taiwan-based Inventec to start production and shipments in March despite having finished development last 2010, so it seems something is stalling the company from producing the tablet at an earlier time.

It was last August when HP promised that their first webOS tablet will come around early 2011. Looks like HP is about to fulfill that promise. But how will the HP tablet fare against established giants like Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab?
