Is it possible that the next iPhone will sport a dual-core processor?

Apple just released the latest operating system for their devices and the savvy coders from Chronic Dev found interesting leads for the next iPhone.

The coders found signs that Apple may be testing dual-core processors for the next generation of their iPhone. The iPad 2 is the first iOS to ship with the A5, the dual-core successor of A4. The A4 processor was introduced to consumers on iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and Apple TV.

Chronic Dev’s member and iOS developer Filippo Bigarella found mention of the code: “N94AP.” A code name that signifies a soon-to-be-released iPhone based on past device code names. The N94AP was linked up to “S5L8940,” the name for the A5 within the iOS code.

Apple likes surprises! iOS 4.3 update arrives four days early.

Four days earlier than expected, Apple is released its iOS 4.3 update for iPhone 4 CMDA, 3GS, iPad and iPod Touch. Get the update on iTunes and see how the iPhone becomes a personal hotspot.

Aside from the feature which makes the iPhone a WiFi device, the update also brings iTunes Home Sharing to other Apple devices. This service will allow users to stream TV, music and movies from PC running on iTunes 10.2 to other iOS device.

In addition, iOS 4.3 comes with a faster Safari performance, screen rotation lock setting on iPad 2, and other improvements.

The update was schedule to be released on March 11, simultaneous with the release of iPad 2. However, it is still not available for Verizon iPhone.

At long last! The iOS 4.3 is here. Are you ready to get the wireless hotspot for your iPhone 4?

Aside from the iPad 2 announcement, Apple also revealed the much awaited iOS 4.3 yesterday. The new version of the mobile OS is not really ground-breaking. However, it brings a pack of welcomed changes.
