Zune was born in the last quarter of 2006 with the goal of smashing Apple’s iPod. Unfortunately, the device did not reach the target sales levels and the iPod stayed on top of it all.

Owners of iPhone 4 will not just run Apple applications anymore since Jailbreak for their devices is now available -- thanks to the US Copyright Law Office. But what can Apple say about that?
The iPhone Dev Team released a Jailbreak for iPhone 4 last Sunday, a couple of days after the US Copyright Law Office legalized the execution of software applications to handsets. The latest jailbreak can be updated via mobile Safari. It was reported to work on all iOS devices, such as iPhones, iPods, and iPads running on versions 4 and 4.0.1. However, it won’t work on devices running on the 4.1 beta. Some users even report that jailbreak disrupts FaceTime and MMS functionality. However, demands for jailbreak heat up making it difficult for some users to get through the website.
Jailbreaking allows devices to run applications that are not approved by the OS provider. It also let devices to run in an unauthorized network. While the software was declared legal, Apple — the target of the bypass — discourages the users from loading Jailbreak. Doing so will void the warranty of the device, and will make their iPhones to be unstable and unreliable.
