Turning your gadget into a multi-purpose accessory is a challenge. But nothing is impossible as they say; when the 6th generation of iPod Nano came, it was turned into a timepiece.

The Nano resembled the iTouch, only way smaller. The new generation of iPod Nano comes with multi-touch sensitive screen and main features similar to iPod Touch. Steve Jobs joked that it can pass as a wrist watch. However, Job’s joke came as a prophecy. Not long after the launch, a new innovation was introduced to the public—the iPod Nano as a timepiece. This new wrist accessory serves as a protector for the smallest Apple device. The straps come in different varieties of colors and styles. Purchasing the right one can be a bit of a challenge. AllWeLike narrowed down the strap choices to five to make it easy for you.

iPhone Dev Team Releases a Jailbreak for iPhone 4

Written on August 04, 2010 by Japhet Writ

Owners of iPhone 4 will not just run Apple applications anymore since Jailbreak for their devices is now available -- thanks to the US Copyright Law Office. But what can Apple say about that?

The iPhone Dev Team released a Jailbreak for iPhone 4 last Sunday, a couple of days after the US Copyright Law Office legalized the execution of software applications to handsets. The latest jailbreak can be updated via mobile Safari. It was reported to work on all iOS devices, such as iPhones, iPods, and iPads running on versions 4 and 4.0.1. However, it won’t work on devices running on the 4.1 beta. Some users even report that jailbreak disrupts FaceTime and MMS functionality. However, demands for jailbreak heat up making it difficult for some users to get through the website.

Jailbreaking allows devices to run applications that are not approved by the OS provider. It also let devices to run in an unauthorized network. While the software was declared legal, Apple — the target of the bypass — discourages the users from loading Jailbreak. Doing so will void the warranty of the device, and will make their iPhones to be unstable and unreliable.
