Holy cow! Sony's Kevin Butler mistakenly tweets the PS3 Jailbreak code.

If you’re one of the avid followers of Sony’s VP for Realistic Movements Kevin Butler then you might be as surprised as the whole world upon seeing that tweet about PS3. Apparently, he just retweeted the famous Playstation 3 jailbreak code.

A Twitter user by the name of Travis La Marr (@exvia) tweeted the METLDR root key to Butler. The latter not realizing it was the infamous PS3 hack retweeted the post. However, Butler didn’t made a big deal out of it by asking if it was some kind of Battleship code. A huge mistake most hardcore gamers surely recognized. La Marr tweeted that he posted the comment:

“because of the way they (Sony) are handling it. Subpoenaing information from YOUTUBE on people who have WATCHED the video? Are you serious?”

Let’s wait for Kevin Butler to answer this issue.

Owners of iPhone 4 will not just run Apple applications anymore since Jailbreak for their devices is now available -- thanks to the US Copyright Law Office. But what can Apple say about that?

The iPhone Dev Team released a Jailbreak for iPhone 4 last Sunday, a couple of days after the US Copyright Law Office legalized the execution of software applications to handsets. The latest jailbreak can be updated via mobile Safari. It was reported to work on all iOS devices, such as iPhones, iPods, and iPads running on versions 4 and 4.0.1. However, it won’t work on devices running on the 4.1 beta. Some users even report that jailbreak disrupts FaceTime and MMS functionality. However, demands for jailbreak heat up making it difficult for some users to get through the website.

Jailbreaking allows devices to run applications that are not approved by the OS provider. It also let devices to run in an unauthorized network. While the software was declared legal, Apple — the target of the bypass — discourages the users from loading Jailbreak. Doing so will void the warranty of the device, and will make their iPhones to be unstable and unreliable.
