KFC to Grant College Scholarship to Lucky Tweeter

Written on December 11, 2011 by R. Depp

The hashtag #KFCScholar is your ticket to a college degree.

The usual requirement to get a college scholarship is to write more than 140 words but KFC is changing that with the hashtag #KFCScholar. A simple tweet could give a lucky high school student a $20,000 worth of college education.

The mechanic of the contest is for students to post a “photo that illustrates why they exemplify Colonel Sanders’ commitment to education and enriching communities, and why they are deserving of a college scholarship” on Twitter and include the hashtag #KFCScholar.

KFC is giving students until December 13 to use their creative juices in posting the best photo which achieves the standards given.
