After being torn as Victoria from the Twilight series, the redhead actress Rachelle Lefevre is now on TV. She will play the role of a hippie doctor in Shonda Rime's "Off the Map."

Rachelle Lefevre has lined up a new gig on TV after being out of “The Twilight” franchise. The redhead actress has joined the cast of a Shonda Rimes-produced medical drama “Off the Map.”

Lefevre will play the hippie doctor Eva who has a great deal of knowledge in International Medicine, according to Enterntainment Weekly. Eva will have a history with the medical clinic the series is set around. This isn’t Rachelle’s first time to grab a TV role. She had guest roles in “CSI,” “Boston Legal,” and a five episode arc in “Swingtown.”

“Off the Map” is the third medical-based drama from Shonda. This time however, the creator of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” will take an executive role. The series that will hit screen this mid-season was created by Jana Bans, writer of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Like the first two series, the TV drama is all about medical personnel, but there’s no classy hospital and private facility involved this time. “Off the Map” will be based around doctors working in a tropical area.
