If you want to know the best highlights of the Super Bowl this year, here’s something from Motorolla.

Motorola promoted theie newest tablet through a commercial spot which was shown during the Super Bowl evemt last Sunday. The advertisement of the Motorola Xoom tablet showed the historic 1984 spot courtesy of Apple. However, this time, it’s their turn to throw the hammer. Xoom tag line goes like this:

“The Tablet to Create a Better World.”

The commercial features the the multi-touch capability of Xoom and it also hinted superb graphic power. It is just a taste of what Xoom can bring, and it looks like it posts a huge threat against iPad.

The Growth of Mobile Advertising [GRAPH]

As the world of technology grows, marketing strategies also expand. Surprisingly, ads are now in mobile devices; and these mobile ads are now bigger than print ans television ads.

The advertising people who uses mobile for marketing is now growing rapidly. More or less 50% growth to top $1 billion by 2011. This is according to the data gathered earlier by market researcher eMarketer.

The estimation was raised from previous projections due to “Google’s acquisition of AdMob and Apple’s introduction of the iAd,” as well as mobile ads reaching “the mainstream of digital advertising,” says the firm.

It may be smaller in dollars but the estimates only mean that the mobile advertising is growing faster than Social Media. Last August, they said that social media ads will grow 20.3% this year compare to the 79% growth on mobile ads.

These tangible treats are to be used to avail True Blood collectibles. What are you waiting for? Go and check in now!

As a venture with HBO, check-in service GetGlue is now about to offer True Blood fans a nice way to save on show-related products through their check ins. The announcement was quickly followed by a news saying GetGlue saw a 25% bump for September, elevating from the 10 million ratings.

True Blood loyalists who chekin via GetGlue will receive a 10% discount at the True Blood Shop. And then when you reach True Blood status, you 20% off on products. Not only that, GetGlue and HBO are awarding the True Blood fans with a $50. Wow!

App users now have a solid incentive to check in their favorite products. But future plans are out in the bucket as well.

“We are aggressively moving into discounts for cable bills but it will take us a bit longer, but I am optimistic.” AdaptiveBlue CEO Alex Iskgold said. AdaptiveBlue is the owner of GetGlue.
