Marvel’s New EIC: Axel Alonso

Marvel Comics made a little reshuffle on its staff by appointing Axel Alonso as the editor-in-chief and Joe Quesada as the company’s Chief Creative Officer.
Marvel Comics declared today that Axel Alonso is now the company’s editor-in-chief. He replaced Joe Quesada who will continue to be Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer.
In the past, Alonso was responsible in editing the X-Men line at Marvel but has always maintained a less public profile. He was known as the editor of Vertigo and checked on projects like 100 Bullets and Preacher. His was also a collaborator for works like Hellblazer, Punisher, Pete Milligan, X-Force/X-Statix and newuniversal.
