Wondering about what’s coming up for iPhone? Peter Misek of Jefferies & Co. has something to share.

As gossip on the next iPhone continue to dish out, an analyst now says he has the latest info on what Apple has in store for their next new smartphone. According to Jefferies & Co. analyst, Peter Misek, the new iPhone will be launched on September this year at the earliest and will be called “iPhone 4S”. This speculation, according to Peter Misek, apparently will break Apple’s yearly summer release for the first time ever.

Is it possible that the next iPhone will sport a dual-core processor?

Apple just released the latest operating system for their devices and the savvy coders from Chronic Dev found interesting leads for the next iPhone.

The coders found signs that Apple may be testing dual-core processors for the next generation of their iPhone. The iPad 2 is the first iOS to ship with the A5, the dual-core successor of A4. The A4 processor was introduced to consumers on iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and Apple TV.

Chronic Dev’s member and iOS developer Filippo Bigarella found mention of the code: “N94AP.” A code name that signifies a soon-to-be-released iPhone based on past device code names. The N94AP was linked up to “S5L8940,” the name for the A5 within the iOS code.

Are we gonna see an iPod touch-like iPhone 5?

It seems Apple is one by one releasing their weapons for technology war. First, the company geared up for battle with iPad 2 and now, rumors about the iPhone 5 are spreading like wild fire.

This week started with one controversial news regarding the whereabouts of the iPhone 5. The Chinese community surprised Apple fans world when Taiwan’s Economic Daily News posted a leaked photo of the said device.

Reports said that Apple is in the works for a smartphone without the glass back; in exchange is panel made from aluminum. This means Apple will dicth the external antenna to make room for some internal parts. The company might likely also to issue free “bumper” guards to prevent the signal loss, the infamous glitch of the iPhone 4.
