Rumor alert! Microkia's Nokia W7 and W8 is making its way to the Windows Phone 7 market. Users might spot at least one of them before the year ends.

Mobile Review’s Eldar Murtazin revealed some details about the first fruits of the Microkia team up — the Nokia W7 and W8. Apparently, these devices will resemble Nokia X7 and N8 respectively.

The Nokia W7, the first working Windows Phone 7 prototype, departs from its Symbian sibling with its WVGA display, 8MP camera with autofocus and Qualcomm QSD8250 chipset. The Finland-based mobile phone manufacturer eyes a Q4 release for Nokia W7, but there’s a big chance that the device will hit the stores in early 2012 instead. Following the W7 is the Nokia W8. With Nokia N8 as the basis, this device is packed with 12MP camera, Qualcomm dual-core CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU.

It seems that the mocked up Nokia WP7 which appeared at MWC 2011 will make a tangible reappearance soon.

Good news! The Nokia Ovi Store just got an over-the-air update yesterday, making all Symbian 5th edition and Maemo-based apps compatible to Symbian^3.

Nokia just gave its Ovi Store an over-the-air update yesterday! This upgrade will enable a full Arabic support for the store and Qt-based app installation. That said, Symbian 5th edition and Maemo apps will now be Symbian^3 compatible.

This is great news for the latest Symbian, as it opens a whole new window of contents to a number of phones that runs the system. And knowing that the Ovi Store is way behind the Android Market and the iOS AppStore, this should be taken as a serious upgrade.

Mozilla is can be defined as the browser of the world. And now, not just to your PCs and laptop but to your beloved phones as well. We’ve waited for this for so long and now, our wish was finally granted.

Known before as “Fennec”, Mozilla’s mobile version is simply called Firefox. The roll out is available for Nokia N900 users and any device under the Android 2.0 commonly known as Eclair. Supported devices includes Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Desire, Evo, Galaxy S and more.

Sorry iPhone people, but you have to stick with your old Firefox Home app in the App Store. Mozilla however, has no plans to work on BlackBerry as of the moment.
