Facebook launches Timeline Apps platform which allows sharing of contents from third-party sites.

Facebook has officially launched its new Timeline Apps platform, a new platform which allows the integration of third-party Open Graph apps into the new Timeline.

The new Timeline Apps platform, which was first announced at last year’s f8 conference, allows news, entertainment and other services to ‘facilitate information sharing’ and lets users enhance their Timeline by integrating the apps into the social network.

Facebook launches 'Listen With Friends', a new feature that enables you to 'listen to music with your friends'.

Facebook introduces ‘Listen With Friends’, a new feature that enables users to share music in real-time with their Facebook friends.

The new feature which works a lot like the popular social media website Turntable.fm, adds a ‘Listen With’ button on the chat sidebar that enables you to look through your online friends list and listen along when someone’s playing music. It also allows you discuss the music being played in the chat sidebar.
