KFC Thailand finally apologizes for posting an insensitive tsunami ad in their Facebook Page.

KFC Thailand finally says sorry for posting an insensitive message in their official Facebook, urging people to head to their fastfood chain, amidst the tsunami warnings, caused by a recent earthquake in Indonesia . The message said: “Let’s hurry home and follow the earthquake news. And don’t forget to order your favorite KFC menu.”

Facebook Allows Tagging Pages on Your Photos

Other than your friends, you can now tag your favorite People or Brand & Products on your Facebook photo.

Starting yesterday, Facebook now allows its users to tag certain People or Brand & Products on their photos. In addition to this, the images will appear on the page’s Photo Tab rather than on its Wall. To make the news even better, Facebook users can tag a certain page even if they haven’t ‘Like’ it.

Page Admins, on the other hand, can nix photos on their tab by going to Edit Page > Posting Options > and un-checking the ‘Users can add photo’. For those who are concerned about their privacy, the social networking site guarantees that your privacy setting still applies.

This move can be an advantage to certain brands, as this can result to free advertising once people started tagging pages.
