After 25 years of animation, Pixar will always be a part of every people's childhood.
Walt Disney’s arrival in LA in the year 1920s marked California as a magnet for the animation artists of the industry. It has been a home for a number of leading studios, known to the world as a global center for arts and animation.
One of the most established animation studio is Pixar, makers of the famous Toy Story Trilogy, Ratatouile and Despicable Me. Woody and his pals have elbowed aside the green ogre as Toy Story 3 becomes the new top grossing animated film of all time. Indeed, no toys get left behind as they climbed up the spot.
Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story 3″ climbed its way up the Paramount Picture and Dreamwork’s “Shrek 2″ as the top-grossing animated film of all times. Walt Disney Studios announced that the movie has taken in a $ 920 million gross at the global box office, while the second installment of the Shrek movie just got $ 919.8 million. The 3D toon also crossed a $ 400 million domestic mark, making it the second Disney film to hit that level. The film directed by Lee Unkrich is the highest-grossing opening weekend with $ 109 million cash-ins in North America. The movie will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on November 2.
