PlayStation Phone hardware specs revealed even before the official confirmation from Sony?

Looks like Chinese website IT168 ignored Sony’s non-confirmation nor denial of the PlayStation Phone at the CES 2011 as the website leaks the rumored phone’s hardware specs.

Although specifically pointing out that the product may not be the final model, the Chinese website detailed the hardware specs one by one and made a mini-review of the gadget. Hit the break for the “specs” of the PlayStation Phone.

Despite the leaked photographs now practically scattered all over the web, there's still no sign of the PlayStation Phone or even a hint of a PSP2.

Sony’s done with their bit for the CES 2011, and from what we can pick up from the statement given by Sony President and CEO Kaz Hirai, we can only root out that there may be a possibility of a PlayStation Phone as they neither confirm nor deny its existence. No hints we’re also given if we’ll be seeing Sony launch a counter attack against Nintendo’s 3DS with a possible PSP2.

In a question and answer portion of the conference, Sony’s head of home electronics Mike Abary gives fans “no comment” on the fan-inquiries regarding the PlayStation Phone and the PSP2. So what’s up Sony? Come on now, there’s nothing embarrassing about it, just say it.

Hit the break to see what we mean as President and CEO Kaz Hirai states something that may tickle our appetite for some PlayStation phone teasers.
