PlayStation Store values the true meaning of Christmas and more! Sometimes you've got to wonder, is Sony Santa's annex workshop?

Oh, Sony tree, oh Sony tree. Deck the halls with downloadable contents as the Sony Playstation Network has unleashed a massive, let me repeat, MASSIVE roster of freebies, goodies, deals and games available for download for the Playstation 3, the Playstation Portable (PSP), and Playstation Plus last Tuesday. The list is so overwhelming we don’t even know where to begin. But one thing is for sure, you got to take a look at everything before you go on a shopping’s spree. Many deals are worth getting while others are so-so. It’s Christmas time indeed, and Sony’s embarrassing the North Pole.

We’re certainly looking forward to the Little Big Planet 2 and Mass Effect 2 demos.

See the complete list after the break!

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd revolutionized the way we play the series, and now it revolutionized the sales charts as it becomes the fastest selling game in Capcom's history.

Following a colossal 1.95 million unit sales two weeks ago, Monster Hunter 3rd isn’t giving an inch from the top spot as it sold 630,000 units last week to sum up the total sales to an impressive 2.58 million. It’s nearest competitor, Ni no Kuni, a Level-5 and Studio Ghibli collaboration, trails far behind with 170,000 units sold.

Capcom’s masterpiece continues to sell well thanks to the undying efforts of the company through collaborations and download quests. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd series has sold a total of 16 million units around the world, and it seems like there are no signs of slowing down.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for PSP. Hunt and tame Felynes as you begin your new adventures in Yukimo Village. Have it your way with your companions with the new customization feature which allows you to change the way your Felynes look from head, torso, to weapons.

Nintendo and Sony still reigns supreme the handheld gaming category against smart phones, but for how long?

A recent study from a market research firm named Interpret show that the smart phones, which include a stellar cast of Apple’s iPhone, Google and Android OS tag team, plus new player Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 platform are steadily gaining the approval as a popular alternative, if not mainstream handheld gaming platform, to DS and PSP.

In a US-based survey that Interpret used in their report, among the 9,000 people interviewed, 44% play games on their phones, a 53.2% increase compared to last year. What’s more mindboggling is 27.2% own both a phone and a PSP and DS.The handheld gaming titans’ popularity dropped by 13% but still dominates the market.
