The official biography of Steve Jobs is still set for a November release, and the publication will include details of his recent resignation.

According to PCMag.com, the official biography of former Apple CEO – Steve Jobs – will be updated to feature vital details with regards to his recent resignation. The said changes would not affect the launching date of the publication. “Steve Jobs: A Biography” is still set to be released on November 21, 2011, instead of the previously announced release date of March 23, 2012.

Publisher Simon & Schuster said the highly anticipated tell-all biography, written by acclaimed biographer Walter Isaacson, will include Wednesday night’s announcement from Jobs’ point of view.

Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Tracey Guest told PCMag that Isaacson “speaks to Jobs regularly and is still working on the final chapter of the book.”

The biography, which is originally titled as “iSteve: The Book of Jobs”, is the first official book that highlights most of the events in Jobs’ life. It was written by Walter Isaacson, the former CEO of CNN and Time’s former managing editor. “Steve Jobs: A Biography” includes over 40 interviews conducted with Steve, and additional interviews with his friends and family members. Few personal details were added on the book as well.

All information written on the biography are factual and authorized. In fact, Steve Jobs had contributed his own effort just to make the publication successful.

55-year-old Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, resigned from his position and appointed Tim Cook as the new Apple CEO.

Co-founder and two-time CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, has just stepped down from his position last Wednesday. He provided a resignation letter to the Board of Directors, telling them that he will remain as the Chairman of the Board and would appoint Tim Cook as the new CEO. The board has immediately approved Jobs’ letter and made the resignation effective at once. Though bowing out from his role, Steve Jobs is still expected to contribute on Apple’s future plans.

The newly appointed CEO Tim Cook – former COO of the company – has been with Jobs for many years. He even supported Steve in his fight against pancreatic cancer. “The Board has complete confidence that Tim is the right person to be our next CEO.” Art Levinson affirmed. “Tim’s 13 years of service to Apple have been marked by outstanding performance, and he has demonstrated remarkable talent and sound judgment in everything he does.”
