Emma Watson decided to focus on her career rather than her college degree. That is so not Hermione!

It seems that studies and career mixed together is something that Harry Potter actress Emma Watson cannot handle.

The young star is reported to be taking a break from her education at Brown University to focus more on her career specifically on her stint on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.

Emma wrote on her website:

“I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects.”

However, this break does not mean she’ll permanently stop her education, she continued:

“I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought : )”

Does it mean acting has stronger lure on Emma? Leave your comments below.

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in April 15, 1990 in Paris, France to parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson. At a young age, she knew her passion is to be an actress. She was trained at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford. However, her big break didn’t came out until 1999, during the casting of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theater teacher and the production was impressed with her superb acting skills. After eight auditions, producer David Heyman congratulated Emma Watson together with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint and made it to the official cast of Harry Potter. J.K Rowling, the creator of Happy Potter, admitted that the first time she saw Emma Watson, she knew she has found Hermione Granger.
