The much-anticipated Facebook PS Vita app is now available for free download on the PlayStation Store.
Following the official US launch of its much-awaited handheld game console, Sony has added a Facebook app to the select free apps that will be available for the PlayStation Vita.
Facebook app is now available for 12MB download on the PlayStation Store, joining Twitter app LiveTweet, Flickr and Netflix in the list of free apps available for the PlayStation Vita.

Facebook launches Timeline Apps platform which allows sharing of contents from third-party sites.
Facebook has officially launched its new Timeline Apps platform, a new platform which allows the integration of third-party Open Graph apps into the new Timeline.
The new Timeline Apps platform, which was first announced at last year’s f8 conference, allows news, entertainment and other services to ‘facilitate information sharing’ and lets users enhance their Timeline by integrating the apps into the social network.

Facebook launches a major redesign, the new 'Timeline' feature which will soon replace the current user's profile view.
Facebook’s new Timeline feature is finally here. The new user interface that will soon start replacing the old user profile is now out of the beta period and available to 800 million users worldwide.
The new look that will soon replace the old profile page and wall, is one of Facebook’s biggest redesign in its history and was first announced on September during the f8 developer conference in San Francisco.
The Timeline which enables the users to be more creative, arranges all the events and activities in a chronological view, giving users more control on what they share and makes navigation easier and more interesting with its new layout.
