Google TV Won’t Appear in CES 2011 [REPORT]

“We will not be announcing a Toshiba TV or Blu-ray player or demonstrating the products at C.E.S. We have an understanding with Google about the future product roadmap and will bring the right product out at the right timeframe.” ---Jeff Barney, vice president of Toshiba’s digital products division.

People will not get the chance to have the first look on the new Google TV next month on CES 2011. Unfortunately, Google asked for a few more time before from its partners–Toshiba, LG Electronics and Sharp. The Consumer Electronics Show will take place this January in Las Vegas. According to New York Times, Google needs to tweak the software a little bit to make it perfect for launch.

As of the moment, only Sony and Logitech are the ones who are actually selling the Internet TVs. Samsung and Vizio are supposed to reveal their Google TV devices at CES 2011 opted to go with simultaneous launches with Toshiba, Sharp and LG’s sets.

Sony Presents the Google HDTV

Sony's Google HDTV made our jaws dropped to the ground. It is the first ever Internet TV in the world. Google reached another milestone in technology.

Finally! The long wait is over. Sony’s line of Internet TVs has arrived. The much-anticipated Google TV. Sony’s all new Internet HDTVs were unveiled earlier today at the NYC press event. Sporting a 1080p edge-lit LED screens, four USB ports, four HDMI inputs and Wi-Fi capabilities. Available in all four sizes, 24″, 32″, 40″ and 46″. The 24″ model rings in at $599 while the 46″ will cost you a hefty $1,399.

The biggest news revelaed during the event is the inclusion of Google TV. It brings Hulu, Twitter, Netflix, YouTube and Pandora to your living room. Plus, it also incorporates search capabilities and Android apps. It is an integration from the web to you cable or satellite TV. The service was unveiled earlier this year at the Google I/O.

Logitech Unveiling the Line of Google TV Products

With Google TV just around the corner, we look forward to it almost everytime we see a Google logo. Logitech offers us a glimpse of their Google TV line products. But Sony doesn't want to be left behind.

Google TV’s launch to earth is what we’ve been waiting for all our lives. We’ve read an article saying that Logitech is unveiling the “Logitech’s line of products for Google TV” in San Francisco and New York. The event is due next week with Sony’s unveiling of the “World’s First Internet Television.”

The invite said that Logitech Ceo Jerry Quindlen will reveal the entire line of Google TV products to die for. The company was the official hardware launch partner of Google.
