Meet the New Superman: Henry Cavill

Let's go up, up and away with the newest "Man of Steel."
The newest “Man of Steel” steals the limelight.
The Tudors actor Henry Cavill joins the cast of Zack Snyder’s Superman: Man of Steel playing the Kryptonian juggernaut himself. After a flood of speculations, the 27 year-old Jersey native has bagged the red and blue suit and will hit the screens this 2012.
According to director Zack Snyder in the joint announcement from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures:
“In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”

Move over Tobey MaGuire, Andrew Garfield is here. The role of SpiderMan will be played by Social Network's Andrew Garfield. And to excite you more, Sony released the first photo of the new SpiderMan wearing his suit.
SpiderMan will not make an appearance this year but expect him to weave and swing on 2012. To elevate your anticipation for the superhero, Sony Entertainment released the very first snapshot of the newest SpiderMan.
SpiderMan is due next year and (500) Days of Summer director Mark Webb will be the one sitting on the director’s chair. However, the Spider-Man reboot remains unknown, but the exact release date will be on July 3. Easy A lead star Emma Stone will be playing Spidey’s love interest Gwen Stacy.
