Everloop, Facebook Counterpart for Kids, Lands $3.1 Million in Funds

Everloop, a social network site for kids, reached a $3.1 million funds from their investors.
A social network for children called Everloop has raised $3.1 million in funds from investors like vFormation, Band of Angels, Envoi Ventures, Richard Chino, Wayne Goodrich, Deena Burnett-Balley and others. The site offers a private social network where parents and guardians can monitor the activities of their kids on the Internet.
It also mixed up music, social games,videos, photos, animation and other experiences. So it could be considered as the Facebook counterpart for kids. Everloop is also adding Disney exec – Sandy Barger – as Chief Marketing Officer, AOL’s Tobin Trevarthen as EVP of Business Development and Alan Goodman as Creative Advisor.
Everloop faces competition against Togetherville, another social networking site for kids, which was recently acquired by Disney.
