Google’s Deal with Twitter Expires, Realtime Search Goes Offline

As their agreement with Twitter expires, Google's Realtime Search shuts down.
A couple of days ago, web users have noticed the Google Realtime Search disappearing from the search results’ sidebar. Even the Google.com/realtime product is resulting to a 404 error page. Yesterday, Google finally disclosed the reason behind this mystery. The company reported that their agreement with Twitter to publish its results already expired on July 2, 2011. Thus, carrying with it most of the services of Google.
As of now, no one knows if Google is discussing an extension of the said agreement with Twitter. Though the company stressed out that they are working for a new Google Realtime Search product.

Behold guys, the new Twitter is ready to conquer and change your social media experience.
Twitter announced today that they are making a new web interface to their site. And some users might experience the new look as early as tonight, though the company noted that they “will roll out as a preview over the next several weeks.” The news about the company’s plans to integrate multimedia to stream leaked earlier today, but the redesigned Twitter isn’t just the deal. A further change will resemble a sophisticated web application. Twitter also released a version for iPad app.
Multimedia partners are composed of 16 different companies, namely: DailyBooth, DeviantART, Etsy, Flickr, Justin.TV, Kickstarter, Kiva, Photozou, Plixi, Twitgoo, TwitPic, TwitVid, USTREAM, Vimeo, yfrog, and YouTube.
