Twitter latest update is now available in Apple's App Store and Android's Google Play Store.

Twitter rolls out a new update that allows photos and Vine videos to appear in the timeline. Users can just tap to show the full version of an image or play a video. You can also go to settings if you want to disable the Tweet previews.

The latest update also allows you to retweet, favorite a tweet and send a reply without ever leaving your feeds.

You can now download the new update via Apple’s App store for iOS devices and through the Google Play Store for Android devices.

Pop icon, Madonna joined Twitter last Monday to promote her latest album, MDNA.

Madonna has joined Twitter for a day to promote her latest studio album, MDNA. Her fans had the chance to interact with the pop icon at 10:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. PST last Monday.

The website, Madonna.com/AskMadonna has announced this news:

“Madonna joins Twitter for one day only to answer fan questions and celebrate the release of her MDNA album. Got a question? #AskMadonna,”

Madonna’s official twitter account is “@MadonnaMDNAday”, with the first tweet sent last Sunday, promoting her one day twitter engagement with her fans. Fans can send her a message with the hashtag, #askmadonna. As of this time, the twitter account has almost 43,000 followers. This is Madonna’s opportunity to increase her social media presence. Her Madgesty also has an official Facebook account, where she has over 9 million subscribers.

It’s not clear if Madonna’s Twitter account will be shut down after this online event.

Lady Gaga, hits the 20 Million mark in Twitter last Saturday, March 3, 2012. She is the first person to get 20 million followers in Twitter. She beats fellow celebrities like Justin Bieber (18 million followers), Katy Perry (15.7 million followers), Shakira (14.5 million followers), Rihanna (14.4 million followers) and Britney Spears (13.5 million followers).

Unlike her fellow popstar, Britney Spears, whose account is maintained by her management team, Gaga claims to personally manage her account. She often posts announcements and personal pictures, using her account to get in touch with her legions of fans, whom she calls her “Little Monsters”, helping her retain her title as the “Queen of Twitter”.

Two British tourists barred from entering U.S. over a twitter joke to 'destroy America'.

Two tourists from the U.K. were detained and barred from entering the U.S. over a twitter joke. Leigh Van Bryan, a 20-something Irish national currently residing in Coventry, U.K. was placed on a “One Day Lookout” list by the Department of Homeland Security for posting a suggestive message to ‘destroy America’ and ‘diggin’ up Marilyn Monroe’.

Bryan and his friend Emily Bunting flew to Los Angeles for vacation but were welcomed by Homeland Security Officials. Both were questioned and detained for 12 hours before they were deported back to the U.K.

After announcing its bleak third quarter earnings, Yahoo sadly closes down four entertainment blogs

Shortly after announcing its bleak third-quarter report, Yahoo has shut down four of its Entertainment blogs including the movie blog The Projector. The other three Yahoo properties include The Set a blog about TV, The Amplifier which covers music and The Famous, a blog that covers breaking celebrity news, gossips and other celebrity topics.

“As was just announced, Yahoo has decided to let @YahooProjector shuffle off this mortal coil. It’s a damn shame: We were having such fun,” The Projector’s co-editor Will Leitch posted on his twitter account, while some of the editors even managed to make a joke out of it, “Starting to think that this giant purple Y! tattoo I got last year wasn’t the best idea. #maw,” tweeted by one of Yahoo’s entertainment blogs’ managing editors.

Regarding the sudden changes done by Facebook, almost all of their users spent this weekend mulling on its new interface.

Facebook users wnt to the blogosphere, Twitter and Facebook’s arch nemesis – Google Plus – to work out the implications of the news. Among the top concerns: “Frictionless sharing” actually means spying by Facebook, and sharing that information with your friends unwittingly means that advertising on the platform will now revolve around actions rather than terms. There’s a “Hitler Reacts” video as well.

Facebook's Ji Lee accidentally tweeted out one major feature of the social site's music service.

Recently, a Facebook employee accidentally leaked out one of the major features of Facebook Music — the social site’s upcoming music service that is expected to be formally announced at the f8 conference.

After few minutes, Ji Lee deleted the post but not before Twitter user – Mitchell Holder – saved a screenshot. On the said tweet, Ji Lee exactly described how the new service will work: The songs that you’re currently listening to will be likely to appear on the newly launched right-side ticker. There will also be a link to “Listen with your friend”, which will allow you to listen to a music with a friend or family member.
