Wi-Fi Access Across London Subway Stations by 2012

Just about half of the London Underground’s 270 stations are being equipped with Wi-Fi access just in time before the 2012 Olympic Games.

The subway station was initially provided with a temporary subterranean Internet access way back in October 2010. This gave the commuters a six-month long connection, with the test funded by U.K. broadband service BT, bringing Wi-Fi hotspots to the Northern and Bakerloo line platforms, as well as the ticket hall at the central London station.

With the initial test considered successful, the London Underground is now inviting telecom firms to a contract bidding that would provide Wi-Fi to 120 of London’s subway stations come June 2012. The winner of the contract shall be announced before the year ends.

Rest assured LiMo fans, the platform is not dead! All We Like just got another photo of the Samsung-made Vodafone 360 H2, and chances are people might see it officially announced at CES or the MWC.

Good news LiMo fans! The Samsung H2 platform is not yet dead — that is, if you’ll based it in on the photo that you see above. The Super AMOLED, Samsung-made Vodafone 360 H2 was expected to be unveiled during the third quarter of 2010. However, nothing materialized, until folks thought that the platform was dead.

But based on the shot that you’re seeing now, it seems that Samsung and Vodafone is still not giving up to make a follow-up for Samsung H1. Vodafone 360 H2 is said to feature a 3.7-inch screen, eight megapixel camera, 720p video recording capabilities, 1GHz CPU, Wi-Fi n support, and Bluetooth 3.0. With this leaked photo, chances are people might see the Samsung Vodafone 360 H2 at CES or MWC. Are you ready for the Super AMOLED handset’s first public appearance?
